Only 24 to 48 hours of supply remain. Despite repeated warnings, not a single can of baby formula has been allowed in. The criminal #Israeli blockade continues to choke off even the most essential nutrition for #Gaza’s most fragile newborns. Dr. al-Farra is calling on #UNICEF, #WHO, and international agencies to act immediately before more infants die from hunger. A year and a half ago, on November 27, 2023, the criminal #Israeli army evacuated the same hospital, leaving babies in incubators who were left to starve to death and later found in an advanced state of decomposition.

They have received several export licenses to Israel and fulfilled contracts for the Watchkeeper drone, developed for the British army by Elbit Systems and Thales. These have been described as the backbone of Israel's illegal occupation of the Gaza Strip. Another is Leonardo, an Italian 'defense' company. Leonardo is the 9th largest weapons manufacturer in the world, exporting arms to a number of oppressive regimes including Israel. The university also has an active partnership with Rolls Royce, who is involved with the F-35 programme. This action follows global calls for the university to cut ties with arms companies or face consequences, and is a reminder for any potential students attending the open day that this university is guilty of committing genocide in Palestine.
