Since last Sunday, the people of South Lebanon have continued returning to their villages along the border with occupied Palestine, despite ongoing IOF aggression. Noteworthy aggressions this week: On Friday, two martyrs and nine wounded were reported following occupation raids in the Bekaa, eastern Lebanon. Today, a Lebanese fisherman was kidnapped by a zionist gunboat at Ras al-Naqoura in southern Lebanon. This morning, residents of Houla entered Kfar Kila despite the continued presence of occupation forces (media 3). Meanwhile, Aitaroun has been fully liberated after remnants of the occupation remained throughout the week. An elderly Palestinian man was shot dead by Israeli occupation forces this morning in the Jenin refugee camp, according to local and medical sources. The Palestinian Red Crescent Society reported that its emergency teams transported the 70-year-old victim, identified as Walid Lahlouh, from the entrance of the camp to the hospital following the deadly incident.

Settlers burn down village mosque and tractor [Original post] Israel’s state-backed settler violence against Palestinian communities is aimed at scaring residents into leaving. Watch footage of settlers torch a mosque and a tractor last night in the Palestinian community of al-Mu'arrajat>> [Tags: Mosque, Fire, Vehicles, Soldiers and Settlers, Arson, Pogrom, Places of worship] [Found by: B'tselem] [Location: West Bank > Ramallah > Muarrajat] [Archivist Notes] At 2 am, settlers invaded the community of Al-Muarrajat, southern Jordan Valley, and carried out an arson attack. Mistaclim activists, who were staying in a nearby village, arrived at the scene. A military patrol and a settler were already present, filming the incident and behaving violently towards the activists. An IDF officer took testimony from one of the residents who witnessed the incident and sent soldiers to the illegal outpost of Zohar Sabah, located nearby, to identify four suspects in the arson. A fire truck arrived about forty minutes after the fire was detected, but the firefighters did nothing. In the morning, the fire was still burning in the mosque. Later, a police car also arrived and went down to the nearby outpost. The eyewitness was advised to file a complaint with the Binyamin police. Based on past experiences, the complaint was likely to be dismissed. The security forces are aware of the settler violence and do nothing to prevent it.
