Testimonies One of the survivors, Muhammad Al-Nahhal, stated that people in southern Gaza were desperate as they ran out of flour for more than a month , and prices are unaffordbale even for alternatives: One kg of flour is sold for 30 shekels, pasta is sold for 17 shekels, which used to be 2 shekels, and rice is sold for 30 shekels) He had no choice but to brave the danger of Israeli drones in Rafah to get flour to feed his children. He succeeded in getting a bag of flour from inside his destroyed kitchen. But was struck on his way out by an Israeli drone strike. He sustained shrapnel injuries throughout his body while some of his relatives and neighbors were killed.
