This is Kafr Qasim school, and this classroom became a grave for the displaced who were martyred. This hole was caused by the bomb which penetrated multiple floors. The classroom turned into ruins, and people are searching the rubble for body parts of the martyrs and for some of their belongings. The school has been almost deserted as people are afraid of another Israeli strike. Seeing the school so deserted is unusual as we're used to see them crowded with hundreds of displaced families. The strike was not limited to that classroom which we have, but the lower floor classrooms were also destroyed. The people who were sheltering have miraculously survived. We can see the mattresses of the displaced inside this classroom, a scene that repeats as longs as the Israeli strikes on refuge centers continue. Fear drives people to elave these shelters and go to nowhere. Fragments of the IOF bomb are here. Joining me here is a man who shelters in this classroom, Hajj, Thank God you are safe - Make God keep you safe - Tell us what happened? - We've been sheltering here for 7 or 8 months, we have nothing and did nothing work, just satying here peacefully. My wife is staying here with me. I finished the danw prayer and my wife told me it's raining let's go check it out. So we went together and as soon as we reached the street people told me"Thank God you're safe. They are convinced that the IOF is committing genocide by bombing houses, as it bombs 3 or 5 houses on their inhabitants every day, killing them. No one knows when their turn will come, nor whether they will make it out alive. That is, if being "saved" is an appropriate word to be used for those who remain alive, to describe the situation amid the genocide. This is Gaza after one year. I am walking on an unpaved, destroyed road, and there's extensive destruction around me. You may not be able to see much because of the night, but the destruction is everywhere.

The crew is pulling Layan out with care, she is heard moaning in pain. Yet as soon as she's rescue she says Alhamdulillah (Praise be to Allah) and asks repeatedly about her father. The crew told her to be patient and if she's feeling alright, to which she replies she's alright and can walk.
