We are now at Ard al-Shanti, west of Gaza City, where the IDF aircraft bombed these houses and all who were inside, none of which was found yet. We are near the Dar al-Arqam school/shelter where hundreds of families are sheltering. Theneighboring houses have also been damaged. With us here is Abu Muhammad, a resident of the neighborhood. Abu Muhammad tell us what happened here?" Abu Muhammad recounts how the strike happened suddenly and how the neighbors moved to check what happened and managed to rescue a wounded person miraculously. "The guys who were working here were rendering a service to the people doing their best to generate fuel. But Israel does not want us to improve our living conditions in any way." "When the strike happened, people left the classrooms in a hurry to the courtyard and checking on each other and their families as it was terrifying. Thankfully, there were only very few injuries among the people at the school." "This Israeli strike is not new to the area which has seen extensive destruction since the start of the war. Next to the house where I stand was a facility to generate energy, compensating for Israel's denial of the entry of fuel. The people had improvised tools to sustain their lives, but Israel keep hunting down such initiatives."

And what does it feel like? Paramedics, civil defense and journalists from the North are at the heart of the event, each doing their part Documenting the targeting of a kindergarten in the middle of Jabalia camp and the miraculous survival of internally displaced people and neighbors" Translation: Islam is documenting We are in Jabalia where a few moments ago, an Israeli hit this area. Ambulances are mobilized but we have not been able to locate the targeted place yet. Islam is running to the targeted place along with other people. We have reached the targeted area in Block 6, Jabalia. People are saying a house within these alleys was struck. It turns out it's a kidergarten that's been targeted. This is an example of daily night strikes the occupation carries out against the homes of Palestinians everywhere. Every day there is a number of such houses being hit by night. This large hole is result of the strike. The Civil Defense and Emergency Services crews are at work. The houses here are right next to each other. Over there is a bedroom. A neighbor steps in to say: " Those are the neighbors of this house, and the ones on the other side too. Here in Jabalia the houses are built very close to each other. Thank God we escaped a massacre. People here are saying that there could have been a massacre here. If the wall of the neighboring house had collapsed, it would have been caused a catastrophe. Islam asks a paramedic about the casualties, and he's told there's been thankfully only one injured person despite the area being inhabited. " People were asleep in the houses next door but by the will and grace of Allah none of them got hurt.

Around 10:40pm we heard firebelts suddenly and everything around the tent was ablaze, so while I tried to leave the tent, I saw the fire and went back. I was watching the residential building where my children to try to check if they're okay but I couldn't because of the firebelts and went back to the tent. Just a few minutes later we heard tanks entering the area and they starting shooting and shelling the building where my family was, and then shooting at us. I peeked at the building where my children were and saw it was being struck with artillery shelling. I was distraught as I was watching but unable to do anything. I tried to go to them but couldn't. So I back to where I was, to my mattress and there were about only 7 metres between me and the army vehicle. I turned over quickly lying face down and dug in the sand so I can hide there from the gunfire. We were stuck until 6am since the army vehicles did not move. So I told my in-law "look, my children died, and they may think I have died too. I must, must go to them." he told me you'll be killed, I told him no, my children died so I'd rather die. So I pronounced the Shahada and ran, my in-law behind me. Then I looked to my left and saw a tank right there. The whole area was completely ruined. We used to get bread at our neighbors' place - the Alouls - they lost 20 martyrs and the whole place is completely changed now. I can't comprehend what happened.

The Palestinian Civil Defence "The occupation bombed the Shuhada Al-Zaytoun school in Zaytoun neighborhood, a school that shelters displaced people who forcibly left their homes in the wake of the Israeli ground incursion in the neighborhood and thought they would find safety here. However, the Israeli occupation struck this school with two bombs , killing 5 people, including two children and a woman. This is aligned with the Israeli policy whereby the Jaouni school was bombed 4 days ago in Nuseirat where over 18 martyrs were killed. It is imperative to put a stop to these massacres against defenseless innocents and civilians in Gaza." Israeli spin The IDF claimed, as usual, it hit a "military command room" at the school-turned-shelter for displaced people. This explaination is a copy-paste of all the school massacres perpetrated since the beginning of the war. It also claimed that it took steps to “mitigate civilian harm in the strike” Casualties This air strike killed at least 5 Palestinians including two children and a woman.

State of Israel distributes illegally land of Uum Safa to Zvi Bar Yosef who many countries have imposed sanctions on [Original post] Umm Safa, (أم صفا) Ramallah district. The State of Israel seizes and distributes private lands. These days, part of the lands belonging to the village Umm Safa is being cultivated. The land is designated by the state, apparently, to Zvi Bar Yosef - who many countries have imposed sanctions on. In addition to land grabbing and theft, the presence of the outpost on the private lands is a danger to the children of the village - the intended outpost will be established near the school. Today, the people of the village, accompanied by activists, tried to reach their lands. They were repelled by the army, which guards the thieves and keeps the landowners away with tear gas and stun grenades. In addition, the soldiers destroyed the monument that was built in memory of a young man from the village, who was shot and killed by the army about a year ago. Arabic : destruction Nour Shams camp in Tulkarm [Original post] On the second day of the invasion of the Nour Shams camp in Tulkarm, Israeli occupation forces left behind widespread destruction. [Tags: Devastation, Soldiers and Settlers, Caterpillar D9, Raid, Sniper Rifle, Palestine Voices, Bulldozer, Living conditions, Infrastructure, Urbicide, Terror, Property, Armored vehicle, Drone strike, Artillery shelling] [Found by: @V_Palestine20] [Location: West Bank > Tulkarm] [Archivist Notes] Tulkarm or Tulkarem (Arabic: طولكرم, Ṭūlkarm) is a Palestinian city in the West Bank, the capital of the Tulkarm Governorate of the State of Palestine : Tulkarm came under Israeli occupation following the Six-Day War. Israeli Civil Administration took control of Tulkarm from the military government. : After the Oslo Accords, control of Tulkarm was transferred to the Palestinian National Authority (PNA) on December 10, becoming the third city from which Israeli forces withdrew. Early 2000s : During the Second Intifada, Israel temporarily reoccupied Tulkarm : Israeli military administration ended, and control of Tulkarm was returned to the PNA , which imposed new weapons restrictions on militants. October 19, 2023 : The Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) re-entered Tulkarm. Israel carries out very frequent raids there and the agricultural lands are subject to frequent attacks by settlers and soldiers. Since August 28, 2024 , Israel has launched a large-scale offensive on various cities in the northern West Bank, called "Operation Summer Camp" What is Israel Doing to Palestinians in Tulkarm? Frequent Israeli Raids: Tulkarm, a city and refugee camp in the occupied West Bank, faces near-daily Israeli raids . Israel claims these operations target militants, particularly from Hamas’ military wing, the Qassam Brigades. However, these raids involve significant destruction of civilian infrastructure. Destruction of Homes and Infrastructure: During the raids, Israeli forces deploy bulldozers to destroy large residential areas, schools, and hospitals . Homes are set on fire, and Israeli troops reportedly prevent local relief workers from extinguishing these blazes. Collective Punishment Tactics: This destruction aims to collectively punish the population, according to experts, in response to pockets of armed resistance against the Israeli occupation. Following the Activist Shadi Abdullah , who documents Israeli abuses, Israeli forces used to demolish homes intentionally cut off basic necessities such as water and electricity. Israeli soldiers cooperate with illegal settlers to attack civilians, adding to the fear and hardship faced by Palestinians in Tulkarm. Civilian Impact: Civilians in Tulkarm are constantly at risk from both Israeli forces and settlers, as the city lies between several Israeli settlements. The destruction of residential areas forces Palestinians into overcrowded, remaining safe zones, further increasing the already high population density due to previous displacements. Strategic Importance of Tulkarm: Tulkarm holds strategic value for its fertile agricultural land and access to natural water resources. However, the illegal Israeli settlements have appropriated much of this land, forcing Palestinian farmers to rely on expensive tanker water and rainwater collection systems. Role of Drones and Heavy Weaponry: Drones play a key role in Israeli raids, providing air cover and targeting Palestinian fighters. Israel has used drones extensively in other West Bank cities like Jenin and Nur Shams, where they killed several Palestinians in July, Augustus and September, since the beginning of "Operation Summer Camp" Israel’s use of drones, bulldozers, and heavy military equipment is part of a broader strategy to instill fear in younger generations and suppress armed resistance. However, this tactic has not succeeded in demoralizing the civilian population, who continue to support the resistance movement as part of the broader struggle against Israeli occupation.

Israeli Operation Summer Camp in Jenin destroys 70 percent of streets & forcible displaced 80 percent of the camp's population [Original post] intifada: Israel's deadly assault destroys 70 percent of Jenin’s streets, forcible displaced 80 percent of the camp's population [Tags: Roads, Raid, Water, Blocking Ambulances, Displacement, Forced Displacement, Blocking Aid, Starvation, Living conditions, Infrastructure, Unlawful detention, Terror, Dehydration, Healthcare System, Siege] [Found by: Richard Hardigan] [Location: West Bank > Jenin] [Archivist Notes] Jenin Siege during "Operation Summer Camp": Launched on Aug. 28, 2024, by Israel, it is the largest military invasion in the northern West Bank in over two decades. The operation focuses on Jenin, with simultaneous actions in other cities like Tubas, Nablus, Ramallah, and Tulkarem. Israel justifies the operation as a fight against Palestinian resistance groups like the Jenin Brigades. Civilian Infrastructure Destroyed: Israeli forces heavily damaged civilian infrastructure in Jenin refugee camp, described as a form of collective punishment.Bulldozers and armored vehicles destroyed homes, streets, and markets. 70% of camp streets and surrounding areas were bulldozed. The refugee camp has been turned into a battlefield, forcing residents to stay indoors. Siege on Jenin: The siege blocked access to essential resources like water, food, and medicine. Civilians, including children, the elderly, and the chronically ill, have been trapped inside without help. Some women and children managed to escape at gunpoint, while men and boys were detained. Mass Arrests and Human Rights Violations: Israeli forces carried out mass arrests of men and boys, including 72-year-old Khayriyeh Khrayneh’s family members. Her husband (a diabetic) and eldest son (a cancer patient) were arrested despite needing medical care. Eyewitnesses described brutal tactics: Palestinian detainees were used as human shields, and attack dogs were unleashed on families. Journalists and media correspondants are systematically threatened by Israeli vehicles or reckless shooting. Blocking Medical Access: Ambulances were denied entry to the camp, and paramedics were shot at, preventing the retrieval of bodies. The main hospital in Jenin was put under lockdown by Israeli Border Police, turning the surrounding area into a "closed military zone." Even when ambulances were allowed through, they were stopped, and patients were forced to show ID before being admitted. Deaths and Casualties: At least 19 Palestinians were killed in Jenin during the siege, including minors. An 83-year-old man, Tawfiq Qandeel, was shot by Israeli forces and left to die without medical help. His body was later run over by military vehicles. Three Palestinian children were killed when their vespa was bombed while delivering bread to the residents of Jenin. Since October 2023, nearly 700 Palestinians have been killed in the West Bank, with 185 in Jenin alone. Brutality of Military Tactics: The operation in Jenin involved anti-tank rifle grenades destroying civilian infrastructure, sporadic gunfire, and drones flying overhead (likely for surveillance or attacks). Civilians described widespread fear and destruction, with Israeli soldiers using homes as military outposts and placing snipers on rooftops. Worsening Humanitarian Crisis: The Israeli military siege left Jenin and nearby cities under curfew, with road closures and checkpoints stifling movement for both residents and journalists. Palestinians were unable to access basic necessities like flour and baby food due to the complete lockdown of the city. Medical staff, such as nurses, reported being unable to go home for days due to the danger posed by the military operation. Israeli Justification: Israeli military leadership stated their intention to target Palestinian armed resistance, stating they would move "from city to city, refugee camp to refugee camp." But despite their claims of targeting militants, the majority of the casualties were civilians, deepening resentment among the Palestinian population and increasing support for resistance groups. Collective Punishment and Civilian Displacement: Civilians in Jenin reported feeling that the military operations were designed to push them out of their homes . Jenin’s residents are increasingly describing the siege as an effort to depopulate the area . Residents drew comparisons between the treatment of Jenin and Gaza, seeing the same tactics of displacement and destruction being used in both regions. Source :

Plea for treatment from father who lost everything [Original post] من اصعب قصص الحرب مؤلم جدا الجريح "رجاء ربيع أبو عويضة"، أحد الناجين من مجزرة آل أبو شحمة بخان يونس، فقد كلتا قدميه ويعاني من حروق بالغة في جسده، كما فقد عينه اليمنى، واستشهد 4 من أبناءه بينهم ابنته الحامل. [Tags: Palestine Voices, Wounded, Special Needs, Families, Appeals] [Found by: Hassan eslayeh] [Location: Gaza > Khan Younis] [Archivist Notes] Translation of the caption: One of the most difficult war stories, very painful. The wounded Raja Rabi' Tawfiq Abu Uwaida, one of the survivors of the Abu Shahma massacre (August 14) in Khan Younis, lost both of his feet and suffers from severe burns on his body. He also lost his right eye, and 4 of his children were martyred, including his pregnant daughter. I was wounded at home and lost 4 of my offspring: Luay, my eldest son, Shaimaa, Asmaa, and Muhammad along with my nephew Rabi' Muhammad Uwaida. My wife is still injured with burns and has been at the hospital for 15 days. As for me, both of my legs have been amputated, I lost my right eye, my hands and arms are burned and my back needs treatment, so I've been laying like this (on his stomach). My wife and my son Rabi' are still at the hospital receiving treatment for 15 days now, just as I am. But (in a very pained voice) I'm not comfortable, I really can't stay like this. I appeal to those with merciful hearts to help us get treatment outside, may Allah bless them. My back hurts, my legs still hurt, I've lost eyesight, God is my witness. I've already lost 4 of my children, and i won't be able to bear losing my wife or my son

The IDF destroyed the Shujaiya neighborhood since the early months of his war, with two ground incursions and relentless air bombardment leaving large scale destruction in its wake. The destruction is so vast we can't determine whether this is a result of this airstrike or prior to it. The fire is still burning inside the house. The situation here is difficult. The strikes are relentless. Today only, this is the 4th house that was targetted in Gaza City and Northern Gaza by the IDF."

Source :
